SYNERGISTIC EFFECT OF HIGH YIELD PULPS

This interesting article describes the synergistic effect of High Yield Pulp. By introducing a significative quantity of CMP in the pulp mix, it's easy to get better properties than expected from the simple calculations -due to the fiber bonds properties. High Yield Pulps can be devided into HB (high bulk) and HT (high tensile) grades. Sicem Saga has developed in the years more HT products, with good tensile strength. This makes our pulp ideal for strong papers with excellent mechanical characteristics, without preventing the achievement of bulk together.
